PX price recovered the pace, on the back of firm upstream. In S E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In Korean market price was around US$ 1050/ton.
PTA price increased in tandem with upstream. In Chinese domestic market price was around RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8200/ton while imported PTA was in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton.
Supply pressure was ease but Ethylene remained firm on the back of bullish upstream. Ethylene prices slightly up today; in N E Asian market ethylene prices for was around US$ 1255/ton, while in S E Asian market ethylene price was around US$ 1220/ton.
MEG offer continued to decline, assessed in the range of US$ 915/ton to US$ 920/ton while counter offer went around US$ 910/ton. In Chinese domestic market price declined below RMB 7500/ton.
