UBE Industries lowers Caprolactam prices

In a recent development, Ube Industries, Japan lowered the selling price of Caprolactam it sells to its Taiwanese and Korean consumers for the month of June.
It is offering the raw material at around US $2,650-2,700 per ton. This is the first time in the last eight months that prices of Caprolactam have been reduced.
Caprolactam is a key raw material used in manufacturing of nylon.
