In Chinese market, Caprolactam prices remained stable around RMB 19800 / ton while upstream product prices continued to follow corrections.
Due to uncertain future trend, market speculators were continuing to avoid trading. In the current month, Caprolactam price have moved down around 10 percent.
Nylon chips prices remain unchanged around RMB 22600 / ton. In the current month, Nylon chip price has moved down around by 6 percent.
Softening Nylon chip prices reduced cost pressure on Nylon Filament yarn producers.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained steady around RMB 26500 / ton, RMB 27300 / ton and RMB 29300 / ton respectively.
Fall in upstream product prices is expected to pull down the nylon filament yarn prices in near future
