PM directs Hafeez to resolve textile industry matters

The Finance Minister, Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, was directed by the Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, to conduct a meeting of all textile industry stakeholders, to resolve problems persisting in the industry.
This directive was given away during a meeting of the textile industry members at the PM Chamber in the Parliament House. The Finance Minister was also requested to solve the tax refund issue immediately.
Dr Shaikh along with FBR Chairman will conduct a meeting with members of the textile industry, in the days to come, to firstly solve the tax refund issue.
Meeting with the PM was attended by Minister for Textile, Rana Muhammad Farooq Saeed Khan, Muhammad Asim Nazir, MNA, Abdul Rashid Godil MNA, Rana Asif Tausif MNA, Mian Muhammad Latif from Chenab Group, Shahid Nazir Masood, Secretary Textile Industry and other officials.
