Jul '10
In the previous week, cationic polyester yarn remained stable in Shengze market, trade volume fell slightly compared with the previous week, but price movement changed little.

Current offers of FDY yarn products FDY63D and 50D were 15,200 Yuan / ton and 16200 / Yuan / ton, respectively, unchanged from the previous weekend and current offers of FDY200D and 300D were around 13,200 Yuan / ton.

From transaction trend of products, FDY30D, 63D, 75D still had demand, but prices of POY, DTY product were stable.

According to market traders, the reasons for price consolidation of cationic filament market are upstream market price of CDP slice was stable and secondly, currently production and sales of cationic fabrics is balanced.

Demand for some cationic products was still relatively stable, thus providing some support to cationic filament market.

Downstream sales of cationic fabrics have declined in recent time, plus downstream textile manufacturers are careful towards new purchases.
