Two themes for Salon International de la Lingerie

The Transgression fashion show imagines a crazy, little doll who s a city-warrior making the scene in a strange, off-beat, fantastic urban jungle. The trends show us colours that are both dark and flamboyant (black, navy blue, crimson, dark purple, wine red, fuchsia, etc) and satiny, lacquered or even metallic materials for an ultra-fitted and romantic-trash silhouette.

The Pause fashion show takes us into northern countries to be refreshed. Here s where we find ethics, authenticity, utilitarianism and a nomadic lifestyle. The colour range goes towards icy blues and volcanic stone and driftwood shades. All types of knits are the stars.

In daily conferences the biggest trends agencies ? Carlin International, Nelly Rodi, Concepts and Promo style - will share their knowledge to help you anticipate the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 and Spring/Summer 2012 trends. Two essential themes for 2011, shapewear and full figures, will also be covered in conferences. The first subject will be handled by Francesca Spinetta from the Network Dessous Group, and the second by Valérie Charier from Créations Lingerie.

The brands make the event and they are the foundation of the Salon International de la Lingerie. The trade show is the most important, undisputed place to launch their new collections, create excitement and get media coverage:

• Lise Charmel will celebrate 35 years and shine the light on haute couture lingerie on Saturday 22 January with a fashion show event (by invitation only).
• Triumph launches its new Essence label with a private party on Sunday 23 January (by invitation only).
• Empreinte presents an avant-première of their latest innovation at the trade show!
