The Turkish economy's total turnover increased by 3.6 per cent month-over-month (MoM) in April this year, according to recent official figures. On a year-over-year basis, it increased by 56.2 per cent during the month.Turnover in the trade and industry sectors increased by 3 per cent and 3.9 per cent on a monthly basis respectively, Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) data showed.
On an annual basis, industry increased by 41.8 per cent and trade by 60.3 per cent during the month.
