The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is organizing a Consultation workshop on November 24, 2011 at Hotel Sonargaon, Balcony Hall.
The Consultation workshop is to discuss the newly developed Tax ADR rules (for all three taxes, i.e., income tax, VAT and customs) with all the relevant stakeholders. International Finance Corporation (IFC) is working with NBR on this project.
NBR Chairman Dr. Nasiruddin Ahmed will facilitate the discussions while Honorable Law Minister and Mr. A H M Mustafa Kamal (Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee for Ministry of Finance) will be present as the chief guest and special guest respectively.
We've also invited all the other parliamentarians who are members of that parliamentary committee and the President-Secretaries of FBCCI, MCCI, DCCI plus all six divisional chambers.
The program will start at 10 AM and continue till 1:00 PM.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is the central authority for tax administration in Bangladesh. Administratively, it is under the Internal Resources Division (IRD) of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
