More than 330 German exhibitors at the biggest textile machinery fair:
At ITMA 2007, the German textile machinery companies have booked space of about 30.000 square meters altogether, keeping all other exhibiting nations on distance. With more than 330 German exhibitors at ITMA 2007 the German attendance increased remarkable compared to 232 exhibitors at ITMA 2003.
ITMA as the olympics of the textile machinery business is not just an event for experienced engineering professionals but also one for young talents. The VDMA Textile Machinery Association is promoting excursions of students and pupils to ITMA with a total sum of 80 thousand Euro.
“Supported by VDMA, more than 400 young people from universities, colleges and schools will have the chance to witness the fascinating world of textile technology at ITMA in Munich. I believe that our dedication to students and pupils is a true investment in the future.
Attracting students for our business at ITMA 2007 means recruiting staff for tomorrow and taking care that the German textile machinery índustry will still be world export champion at future ITMAs”, explained Waldmann.
