The Society of Dyers and Colourists of Australia and New Zealand presents the Clariant Textiles. Fashion. Colour. 18th International Symposium on Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th October 2007 at The Sebel Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia.

As a recognised industry leader in the development of its events that bring together a variety of high profile Australian and world class speakers to educate and provide knowledge as well as encourage excellence in innovation for the Australian Textiles Industry the SDCANZ presents The Clariant Textiles. Fashion. Colour 18th International Symposium.

The Symposium will officially open with The International Fibre Centre Student Showcase and Exhibition – also featuring Australia's leading textile design print studio specialist Longina Phillips on Wed 17th October (Cocktails and Welcome), full day lectures Thurs 18th and all day choice catering (including buffet luncheon), Cocktails and Official Dinner and entertainment.

Industry Tour City West Water, case study presentation and BBQ Farewell Luncheon (transportation provided) concludes the activities on Fri 19th Oct. Bring your Partner, they can enjoy the hosted Yarra Valley Winery Tour on Wed 18th and back in time to join you for the Official Dinner.

Prominent international speakers from UK, Greece, Hong Kong, USA, Arizona and well known Australian speakers will provide presentation on future trends and technologies in colour and finishing applications of modern textiles on topics encompassing most aspects of the textile supply chain from fibre production to wet processing and retail branding.
