Ms. Gabriela Betz to leave Swiss Textile Federation

The Head of Communication of the Swiss Textile Federation (TVS), Gabriela R. Betz, has decided to leave her post at the end of November 2007 to accept a new professional challenge.
In her two years of activity with the TVS, she has made a strong and lasting mark on the Federation. One of her greatest achievements is the Stella Fashion Night, Switzerland's most important fashion event, which has acquired a prominent national and international status thanks to her dedicated commitment.
The Swiss Textiles Award presented by the Swiss Textile Federation on this occasion is one of the world's most prestigious fashion promotional prizes.
Gabriela R. Betz has done much to enhance the image and position of the Swiss textile and garments industry with the general public and also to encourage the training of young creative persons.
She effectively redesigned the visual impact of the Federation's swiss+cotton mark and extended the accompanying marketing measures.
Through a wide range of further communication measures she has helped to endow the Federation with a fresh public image.
The Executive and Management greatly regret Gabriela Betz' departure; they are grateful to her for her achievements and wish her all the best for the future. Her successor, Judith Niederberger, takes up her duties.
