Milliken's VisaEndurance subsidizes paddling events

World's largest privately-held textile and chemical producer, Milliken & Company announced that VisaEndurance, Milliken's premier odor- and moisture-management fabric brand, will return as an official sponsor for two upcoming paddling events in Virginia Beach, Va. VisaEndurance will sponsor Paddle for the Lynnhaven River 2007 Challenge on Sunday, April 23, and Paddle for the Bay on Saturday, July 29. Both paddling events benefit local river preservation projects.

In its fourth consecutive season as an official sponsor, Milliken will outfit event participants and volunteers in performance t-shirts made with VisaEndurance. VisaEndurance is a smart fabric from Milliken that combines an effective, long-lasting odor control technology with moisture management and unique stain releasing capabilities, in a variety of performance apparel fabrics.

The comfortable and durable fabric, made from microfiber polyester in several fabric constructions and weights, is used in a wide range of base layer garments including technical long and short-sleeved t-shirts, long underwear, men's briefs and boxers and women's underwear.
