Swiss based leading biological & chemical group Ciba Specialty Chemicals introduced polymer for ultrafine textile coatings.
- Ciba DICRYLAN PGS polymer allows wide variety of new effects for ultrafine sports and transportation coatings
- High resistance to weathering and UV degradation
- Flexible application options
Launched at Techtextil/Avantex, Ciba DICRYLAN PGS is a versatile polymer for ultrafine coating of items such as clothing, tents, boat covers, shoes, rucksacks and self adhesive decorative materials; it is also suitable for embossing effects for signage and logos, for example. The product has high resistance to hydrolysis, and thus to weathering and UV degradation.
Anti-fogging properties and compatibility with Ciba FLOVAN CGN flame retardant make DICRYLAN PGS suitable for automotive applications.
DICRYLAN PGS can, in combination with other products, be used to replace solvent-based applications and PVC, in particular for military fabrics.
The product can be applied by paste or foam coating, padding or spraying.
