Machine clothing Co Xerium shifts Headquarters

Leading global manufacturer of clothing and roll covers used primarily in the paper production process, Xerium Technologies announced that it has moved its corporate headquarters, effective immediately, to Youngsville, North Carolina (near Raleigh, North Carolina) from Westborough, Massachusetts.

Tom Gutierrez, President and Chief Executive Officer of Xerium, said, "They have maintained an office in Youngsville for some time, and over the last two years, their presence there has grown as more positions from their North American clothing and North American rolls operations became based there."

By centralizing the majority of their senior management group in the Youngsville office, which is closer to their manufacturing facilities in the southeastern US, they believe that this will enable their managerial and operational teams to work together more closely."
