Earlier in the day (Wednesday, June 15), Carlos and Deborah Santana will make a special afternoon appearance at Macy's landmark Herald Square location for a reception and fashion show spotlighting the Carlos By Carlos Santana Shoe Collection. A creative collaboration between the legendary musician and the Brown Shoe Company, the "Carlos" line of high-fashion women's footwear is inspired by Santana's vibrant spirit and artistry, as reflected in the shoe collection's rich colors and materials, unique styling and exciting details.
The first 250 customers who make a Carlos By Carlos Santana shoe purchase at the event beginning today will receive a pass for an exclusive reception with Carlos and Deborah Santana and a special commemorative gift bag. A portion of the proceeds from all sales of "Carlos" footwear benefits the Milagro Foundation, established by Deborah and Carlos in 1998. Milagro (which means Miracle) supports organizations worldwide working with children and youth in the areas of the arts, education and health, and since its inception has granted close to $2 million.
