Elizabeth Bartlett to present spring/summer women's shoe line' 06

Leading shoe company Elizabeth Bartlett will unveil its spring/summer 2006 women's shoe line during the Footwear Fashion Association of New York (FFANY) from July 31 to Aug. 2 at the Pierre Hotel in New York City, and at the World Shoe Association (WSA) show in Las Vegas, Aug. 4 -7 at the Venetian Hotel in Suite 5134. This visionary line fulfils a "sore need" in the marketplace: fashion forward, alluring high heels (and much more) that are engineered to feel great.

Milan-based retail strategist Rebecca Stern (known best for her work with Neiman Marcus, Gucci, and Bally) is putting Elizabeth Bartlett on the map; she has divined the Spring 2006 collection in a sexy, savvy and sleek direction.

Among its 25 styles in the collection, heel heights and cuts range: flat thongs (5); 50 mm thongs with kitten heels (3); 80 mm wedges (5); 40 mm sandals with kitten heels (2); 80 mm sandals on high 2 1/2-inch heels (6); one style on 85 mm closed, round toe (2 1/2-inch heel); two styles in a 95 mm platform; and one style on 20 mm. closed, pointed toe. Sizes are available in 5 to 12 medium and from 7 to 11 narrow (U.S.).

Spring/Summer 2006 orders placed by September 2005 will deliver near the end of January or early February 2006. Driven by the belief that "style shouldn't hurt and comfort doesn't have to be ugly," Founder Elizabeth Bartlett and her daughter Susan Bartlett Rankin tapped into the talents of a European-influenced retail team and an Italy- based designer. The collection targets busy women (in their 20s to 50s) on the go who demand fashion forward, elegant and eye-catching shoes that feel comfortable.
