Amartex targets to achieve Rs300cr sale

Amartex Industries Ltd, one of the leading textile manufacturers, has received Government of Punjab's approval for setting up an agro processing project at Lalru in Punjab, covering an area of 80 acres.
In an expansion plan of Gurgaon and Ludhiana garment projects, the company proposes to invest around Rs250 crore. These two facilities have the capacity to produce about 10,000 garments and 10,000 knitted fabrics per day.
Amartex, also intends to increase its number of retail chain store from 58 to 150 where garments, FMCG products and agro goods can be purchased at the lowest possible price.
Company sources disclose, that the projected target of the company in current financial year is Rs300 crore, which is almost double as compared to Rs180 crore achieved by in 2006-07.
