Viscose fibre producer Lenzing reappoints Fahnemann

Viscose fibre producer The Lenzing AG Supervisory Board at it its latest meeting reappointed Thomas Fahnemann as Chairman of the Management Board. The mandate for Mr. Fahnemann has been extended to the year 2011.
Thomas Fahnemann joined Lenzing two and a half years ago and has provided dynamic impulse for the internationalization of the company group. His name is synonymous with the successful road towards this goal.
Upper Austria based The Lenzing Group's focus is on quality and innovation in the field of man-made cellulose fibers. The fibers - viscose, lyocell and modal - are produced from the renewable resource wood.
These all are used in the textile industry (in fashion and for domestic and technical fabrics), as well as in the nonwovens industry (for personal care, medical and cosmetics products).Moreover, the group is active in the fields of engineering and systems construction, and plastics and paper.
