Malaysia denies extending tariff discounts on Pak textiles

Malaysia has refused to retain tariff discounts to Pakistan on textile products.
As per the local media report, Malaysia provided discount on Pakistani textile products with tariff reduction by Pakistan on importing palm oil.
Still, both sides have not expressed any kind of discrepancy on the matter of Rules of Origin. The delegation held meeting in Islamabad on 8-9 June 2005.
The considerable results are expected from the second meeting, which is to be conducted on 18-20 July 2005 in Malaysia.
