NPO & TUSDEC to boost competitiveness of knitted & woven garments sector

Pakistan's knitted and woven garments will turn more competitive in the global market with the coming together of the National Productivity Organization (NPO) and Technology Up-Gradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC), who have committed to develop the sector.
Addressing the meeting on the 'Initiative for Enhancement of Productivity and Value-Addition in Textile Garments,' NPO Chief Saquib Mohyuddin stated that NPO will roll out standards of the garments sector targeting to dress up and increase productivity and value-addition process.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) proposed a project to raise output capacity of the knitwear and woven garment units, both in terms of human resource and technology.
