US trade officials meet Chinese Vice Premier to discuss textile trade disputes

Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi has met US Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez and Trade Representative Rob Portman, yesterday.
Both sides are expected to discuss the Sino-US textile trade disputes and other issues of mutual concern.
Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai held talks with Gutierrez, Saturday morning in Beijing on issues concerning bilateral textile trade and intellectual piracy issue.
The US government has re-imposed restrictions over the surge of cheap Chinese textile imports in US market. US claims that it has created major disruption in the domestic markets.
Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai held talks with his US counterpart Carlos Gutierrez on Saturday in Beijing to explore for the solution to the Sino-US textile trade friction, which reports say will cause 100,000 job-cuts in Chinese factories.
