According to Customs data, China's total imports of acrylic staple fiber in August 2007 marked 1.29 million tons, a decrease of 1,593 tons from last month. Top four suppliers were Japan (57 percent), China Taiwan (23 percent), Thailand (11 percent), and South Korea (4 percent).
China's total imports of acrylic fiber in August amounted to 24,000 tons, reducing 1,387 tons from the previous month. Total imports from January to August amounted to 217,000 tons.
China's total imports of acrylic top in August reached 651 tons, a decrease of 302 tons from the previous month, of which, 42 percent was from India, 26 percent was from South Korea, 17 percent was from Japan and 12 percent was from China Taiwan.
