Chinese kidswear firm Balabala selects Centric PLM suite

Balabala, the leading Chinese kidswear brand, has announced that the company has selected Centric Software’s product lifecycle management (PLM) solution. Centric provides the most innovative enterprise solutions to fashion, retail, footwear, outdoor, luxury, and consumer goods companies to achieve strategic and operational digital transformation goals.

Faced with changing consumption patterns and demographics in the Chinese market, Balabala needs acute digital insights into consumer behaviour and popular trends so as to accelerate its product R&D and respond accordingly. Implementing a kidswear PLM and a lifestyle PLM solution is key to their digital strategy, according to Centric.

After a comprehensive selection process, Balabala chose Centric PLM for kidswear and lifestyle brands based on Centric Software’s excellent track record.

“Today, Balabala is a clothing company. However, with changes in the market, we will become a lifestyle company in the future. As such, product revamps will be our most important strategy in the next one to three years, and this is where PLM plays a vital role.
