Embodee hires technology sales & marketing executive

Embodee has announced the hiring of a veteran technology sales and marketing executive. Yoram Burg brings over 25 years of experience in multiple aspects of running large organisations. Embodee was founded in 2008 in the US to develop methods for helping the apparel industry use 3D visualisations in merchandising and selling products online.

Sixteen years of Burg’s experience were in prominent roles with EFI Optitex, which provides end-to-end design software, including 3D prototyping and 2D CAD/CAM pattern design for fashion, apparel, automotive, and upholstery products, according to a press release by the company.

“I am very excited to have joined Embodee at a time when changing consumer patterns are driving the market’s growing use of 3D-software solutions, and ecommerce is increasingly seen as a desired target for that content. With great past execution of complex online configurators, Embodee is strategically positioned to play a dominant role in bringing realism and an excellent online shopping experience to consumers,” Burg said.

Burg’s roles have included building and managing large international and multicultural sales and marketing teams and closing large-scale deals with senior-level corporate management. He served as a board member for Optitex, as well as SPESA for more than three years. (GK)
