Tukatech, the garment and apparel industry’s leading provider of fashion design software and technology solutions, bagged the “Technology Innovation” award at the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) 2017 Fashion Awards, held on November 29, 2017. The award recognised many influential leaders and brands from fashion, financial resources, and technology.

Ram Sareen, founder of Tukatech said, “Over 80 per cent of California’s fashion industry is making amazing strides in fast fashion using our technology. More than 90 per cent of all universities and fashion schools teach product development with TUKAcad and TUKA3D, and even some high schools have incorporated the software into their curriculum. The reward for our hard work is much appreciated.”

The LABJ Fashion Awards acknowledge the top apparel companies that drive tremendous economic growth in the region and make Southern California a major force in the business of fashion. The companies awarded with this prestigious honour have been instrumental in transforming Los Angeles into a hub of fashion influence and innovation. The award for “Technology Innovation” is presented to a company that combines fashion and apparel experience with ground-breaking technology. (GK)
