In addition, UTC RETAIL was also listed as a top 10 vendor in 15 key categories, including the areas of overall performance, total cost of operations, customer satisfaction, and return on investment, ease of installation and integration, ease of administration and maintenance, and quality of service.

“We are extremely proud to be recognized as one of the top 20 vendors in this year’s survey,” said Sam Villanti, UTC RETAIL President and CEO. “Our company’s solid 24 year history, exceptional products, and very knowledgeable, hard working staff have each played a key role in our success as an in-store solutions provider. It is extremely rewarding to be recognized for all of our efforts.”

Now in its twelfth year, the annual RIS News Software Leader Board survey ranks retail software vendors by a variety of metrics, such as retail concentration, revenue, and customer satisfaction. The survey was conducted by an independent research firm, Litchfield Research, and included responses from more than 300 retailers on 82 software vendors. This well respected industry survey is often referenced by retail executives in the planning and evaluation of their next technology investment.
