FERA implements Nuorder online wholesale solution

FERA Intl. Corp., bridging the gap between technical and fashion-forward active apparel since 1978, is pleased to announce that it has adopted NuORDER as its online wholesale system.

NuORDER is a robust online platform that allows buyers to browse new products, product information and product availability easily and intuitively via individual login. Brands are able to create custom line sheets, place orders, and update inventory in real time, and the offline iPad app allows brands to conduct business anytime, anywhere.

FERA adopted NuORDER as part of a high-level push to maintain its strong digital presence and to provide a “next-gen” buying experience that is easy and secure. While the majority of specialty leisure brands still use traditional methods, FERA chose to upgrade to NuORDER partially because of its recent expansion into year-round contemporary apparel with its lifestyle line EVOS.

EVOS was warmly welcomed by FERA’s traditional retail sphere of outdoor gear and specialty ski retailers, but FERA wanted to create an experience that would resonate with more mainstream fashion retailers since EVOS merchandises equally well alongside both sportswear and specialty apparel.

“We always want to make things easier and better for both our buyers and sales reps. Gone are the days of searching for a misplaced catalog and then racking your brains trying to remember what you wanted to buy when you were at that trade show months ago,” says Eric Tung, president of FERA.

“These days everything is on a computer or online. NuORDER is, on one level, simply our acknowledgement of that. Yet, more profoundly, it’s also a message that we’re committed to evolving with a changing industry, and that we care deeply about the experience buyers have when they interact with FERA.”

About FERA:

At FERA, our mission is to create stylish active clothing with incredible fit and design integrity.

FERA began in 1978, when founder Betty Tung realized the American ski industry was booming but that American ski fashion was decidedly not. Her intrepid response was to launch FERA with a vision of making exquisitely tailored, affordable skiwear. FERA rapidly developed a devoted following and a reputation for perfect fit, great quality, advanced functionality, and beautiful styling.

FERA is equally as considerate of the environment as it is of its designs. FERA proudly donates production samples to rural farmers, supports cutting-edge eco-conscious textile development, and adheres to bluesign sustainability standards for the majority of its textile use.

NuORDER is the future of fashion wholesale for the world’s best brands and retailers. NuORDER takes the entire sales process online and mobile: orders, custom line sheets, product catalogs and inventory, as well as an exclusive marketplace for prospecting new accounts.
