Gerber Technology has appointed Jeff An as the new director of professional services Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in the company's Shanghai office.

Bill Brewster, vice president and general manager, Enterprise SW Solutions said, “Gerber Technology has a strong track record of PLM leadership around the world. The addition of Jeff An to the team illustrates our commitment to growing our leadership in the Chinese market, which is critical to both local and global customers.”

Prior to joining Gerber Technology, An served as managing consultant at Accenture and at IBM BGS for 11 years, leading large-scale IT projects in the Chinese apparel industry. An has completed masters degree in systems engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai.

YuniquePLM is web-based product lifecycle management software that helps the fashion and apparel industries communicate effectively, accelerate workflows and eliminate errors. YuniquePLM can help Chinese businesses of all sizes accelerate their time to market, reduce lead time and improve margins by managing the details of line plans, tech packs and samples, and simplifying communication and collaboration with global partners, according to a Gerber press release.
