Skins signs supplier deal with five professional cycling teams

Skins, the global leader in the development and manufacture of engineered gradient compression technology, announced it has been named an Official Supplier to Team Inferno, Team Bissell, Team Flexpoint, Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast Pro Cycling and Skins/Summit Six Racing Team.
The product will be supplied for use to all team members, and will be worn for enhanced training, faster recovery and travel.
"We are extremely excited to have Skins, USA as an Official Supplier. Many of our riders have been using the Skins Travel and Recovery tights for years and swear by them, and so we had already budgeted to purchase Skins for the squad prior to even discussing this possible sponsorship," stated Mark Olsen, team manager for Bissell Pro Cycling Team.
"The products without question work, and Skins, USA has been great to work with. We look forward to having an advantage over the competition not using Skins for many years to come."
As part of the Official Supplier agreement, Skins will provide product assortments to the athletes, as well as offer special pricing for additional purchases. Chad Thompson, general manager for Team Inferno, stated,
"After being so impressed with the recovery tights we purchased in 2007, we actually initiated a relationship with the Skins team. We now cannot wait to use the full Skins product line. The science is legitimate, and they will prove a real tool for anyone who uses them."
Jon Graff, brand manager for Skins, USA added, "We make it a practice to never pay an athlete to wear or promote our product. Elite athletes wear Skins because they truly believe in the technology and know how well they work."
