As of October, a partnership between RF-iT Solutions GmbH and the French company RFit Technologies will ensure that customers and interested parties are provided with the best possible service locally in the French radio frequency identification (RFID) market.

France is a highly dynamic RFID market and, due to its size, plays an essential role in the standardization and definition of regulations for traceability and the development of RFID solutions. Last year alone, a series of competitiveness clusters and the Centre National RFID, the national organization for the promotion of RFID technologies, were set up to raise awareness of this topic among businesses.

With the "Pôle Traçabilité“, a competence center in the area of traceability and other scientific institutions, France is well equipped for a market expansion of AutoID technologies. Having realized this at an early stage, the Austrian technology experts RF-iT Solutions pursue an aggressive growth strategy as a supplier of RFID middleware and technology consulting in order to extend their success in Germany and other Central European countries to France.

The company has extensive experience in implementing RFID solutions and proven solutions in a wide range of industries: fashion, automotive, pharma, industrial manufacturing, document management, libraries and car rental.

Logistics applications to secure brand protection and sales channel monitoring are also part of the portfolio of RF-iT Solutions. “A presence in France is only possible through close cooperation with partners who know the local market, have excellent technical expertise and understand customers' needs. This way, we can offer customers the best possible service locally and the most efficient solutions. We are pleased to have found this partner in RFit Technologies“, the managing directors of RF-iT Solutions, Andre Schenten and Dominik Berger agree.

RFit Technologies focuses its activities on traceability of products and auto-ID solutions. The portfolio comprises the marketing of a powerful middleware platform and technical support of customers in the implementation of traceability solutions based on RFID, barcode and other auto-ID technologies.

Complete auto-ID and traceability solutions are carried out in close cooperation with selected system integrators. As a result of the two RFID think tanks, competent local expertise around You-R OPEN is now available to the French market. You-R OPEN, the RFID/auto-ID middleware of the Austrian technology consulting and software company RF-iT Solutions, combines a number of advantages for companies on the way to RFID-based process management: efficiency, security, scalability, mixed technology and hardware vendor environment.

Heterogeneous traceability solutions allow rapid and uncomplicated implementation. You-R OPEN has successfully contributed to considerably simplifying RFID implementations in companies. The result is a quick return of investment as well as a low total cost of ownership.
