Infor today announced it has launched a campaign to recruit new channel partners in North America. Seeking to expand on its year-over-year increase in license revenue from the channel, Infor looks to enlist value-added resellers (VARs) that have deep industry-specific knowledge in addition to a strong understanding of enterprise software and its implementation. The company previously announced drives in EMEA and South America to expand its worldwide base of more than 1,400 VARs.

Infor channel partners have access to world class training and support, providing opportunities to build market share, boost sales skills, and improve profit margins by capitalizing on Infor's innovative product strategy. Becoming an Infor channel partner offers companies multiple opportunities for growth, including market leading products, marketing tools, sales and lead generation assistance, and training and education with Infor product experts.

"Infor has quickly grown to be one of the world's leading providers of enterprise software as a result of its strategy to design, enhance and implement solutions that meet a company's industry-specific business needs," said Mike Gadow, vice president, channels, Infor. "Ideal partners will have deep industry knowledge coupled with expert implementation techniques, further enabling Infor to help businesses improve their operating processes and increase profitability."

Infor's North American channel recruitment drive will focus on partners who are software experts in the manufacturing and distribution sectors. Recently, Canadian-based Business Solutions Alliance (BSA) became an Infor channel partner. BSA is a VAR that specializes in selling and implementing Infor ERP VISUAL, a robust enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for companies in the discrete manufacturing industry.

"Becoming an Infor channel partner is a strategic move for our continued success and growth," said Marc Harris, president, Business Solutions Alliance. "Infor provides development and educational tools in addition to continuous innovations to the ERP VISUAL solution that help us deliver and implement a product that our North American manufacturing customers want to improve their own operations."

Infor channel partners worldwide sell, distribute and implement Infor solutions for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Warehouse Management (WMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Performance Management (PM), and Financial Management (FMS).
