Instant Demographics software for retail marketplace

Chain Store Guide (CSG) announced the release of Instant Demographics, a new online business intelligence tool. Instant Demographics allows companies to search census data, geographic information, along with retail and restaurant industry market information in one online program. Users can then develop customized charts, maps, graphs and analysis for strategic plans and reports. The new software has over 6,000 search options designed for retail, manufacturing, real estate, financial, and other industry professionals.

Instant Demographics is a collaboration of Chain Store Guide's industry databases, with SRC's geographic business intelligence software. The combination of the two organization's core competencies provides a powerful new analytical tool for executives in the retail and restaurant industries.

Both companies feel that given the current economic market, Instant Demographics could be a huge benefit for retail companies and suppliers. CSG publisher Michael Jarvis states, "companies in this economic environment are seeking as much analytical information as possible before making key decisions. Instant Demographics provides businesses with a large majority of that data in one online subscription. This software helps companies conduct competitive analysis and accurately gauge market share."

The Instant Demographics software has nearly 600,000 locations and over 6,000 variables that you can conduct searches and queries on. Chain Store Guide itself develops market research and compiles industry headquarter data for the restaurant, supermarket, wholesale grocery, foodservice, apparel, department store, home centers, hardware chain, drug store, and real estate industries.

Since Instant Demographics has so many features and variables, Chain Store Guide recommends that individuals interested in the software schedule a training session with one of the company's data consultants before purchasing the product.

While Instant Demographics is a new product, Chain Store Guide itself has been in business for over 80 years. Chain Store Guide sees Instant Demographics as the next step in the company's evolution from print directory publisher to data solutions provider. The company's customers have transitioned from print directory to database, and now many are starting to utilize cloud computing solutions. Chain Store Guide views these trends as natural and is quickly developing solutions to fit their needs.
