Connectria Hosting to manage Ansell's IT infrastructure

Ansell Healthcare, a global leader in protective solutions, has awarded Connectria Hosting a comprehensive multiyear Data Center Outsourcing contract to manage Ansell's information technology infrastructure. Connectria will assume operational support for the information technology functions that support Ansell's complex environment of mission critical iSeries, AIX and VMWare technologies.

Connectria will provide day-to-day technology production and disaster recovery support for functional areas including: data center management, iSeries Managed Hosting and Administration, AIX Managed Hosting and Administration, and VMWare Private Cloud Hosting. Connectria's value added services include the provision of hardware and software licenses, as well as a project team to migrate the environment to the new data center and systems.

Ansell will achieve real dollar savings of over 50% as compared to its previous contract with a leading outsourcing provider.
