VF Corporation and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) announced the signing of a seven-year information technology (IT) services outsourcing agreement.

Under the agreement, CSC will bring new, innovative approaches to VF's business use of IT, covering a broad spectrum of services, including service desk, end user support services, network services, distributed computing services and data center management services. Work will be performed utilizing CSC's worldwide network of delivery centers. The transition from VF's current information technology services provider to CSC is expected to be completed by the end of August 2011.

"We are pleased to have formed a collaborative relationship with CSC, a world-class information technology services company that has demonstrated a strong commitment to enabling and supporting the success of VF and our brands with its extensive technology capabilities," said Martin Schneider, Vice President and Chief Information Officer for VF.

Added John Brantley, Vice President, Global Technology Operations for VF, "We are looking forward to the experience, flexibility and speed that CSC will bring to our relationship and have great confidence they will help us achieve VF's growth goals."

"CSC and VF are an ideal fit," said Mary Jo Morris, president, Technology and Consumer Group, CSC. "VF is an extremely successful company and its brands are well known throughout the world. We are committed to a long-lasting relationship by drawing upon our formidable global network of IT professionals to bring operational excellence and innovation to VF and its global business."
