Infor announced more than 40 educational sessions that examine current challenges and trends in the process industries will be presented at the company's global annual user conference, Inforum 2007. Inforum will be held September 9-12 at Las Vegas' Sands Expo and Convention Center.
Infor experts, partners and process manufacturing customers including Alliance Plastics, Odom's Tennessee Pride, and Hormel Foods Corporation, among others, will present case studies and best practices for gaining competitive advantages with Infor's business-specific solutions.
Process manufacturers will gain insight into navigating the complex regulatory requirements of global markets during a session hosted by Rory Granros, Infor's director of industry and product marketing for Process Industries.
On Tuesday, September 11, Granros will present “The Value of a Risk-Based Compliance Strategy,” which will explore how organizations can mitigate the risk associated with compliance in overseas markets, and provide advice to help process manufacturers comply with industry and regional regulatory requirements.
“To compete in today's global landscape, process manufacturers must adopt proactive compliance strategies and assess compliance early in and throughout the product lifecycle,” said Granros.
“By developing systematic, repeatable product compliance processes that efficiently address today's complex regulatory environment, organizations are well positioned to drive business growth through innovation and market expansion.”
