Interfiliere Hong Kong 2016 concludes successfully

Interfiliere Hong Kong 2016, the international platform for bodywear market, the 10^th of its kind, concluded with a great fulfillment and success.

This edition hosted exhibitors from 13 countries. Asian companies accounted for a large proportion at 84%, followed by European exhibitors at 15% and Americas taking up the rest. 25 new exhibitors joined the trade show for the first time.

“We were very satisfied, we have reached an important amount of interesting (and interested) visitors. Over 100 contacts have been established in the 2 days of the fair, and most of them showing deep interest in our production. This is an outstanding result, which we hope will give us good returns,” said Claudia Anselmi, Hung Yen Knitting & Dyeing Co., Ltd.

The show attracted visitors from 46 countries. Among which, the number of visitors from Asian countries excluding Hong Kong and China, has grown substantially. In recent years, countries such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam have and still are experiencing strong domestic market demand.

On the other hand, the export volume in such regions is increasing in terms of textile and more over in the intimate apparel market. Such favorable circumstances reinforce the need of the bodywear industry.

“I can't wait for the next edition of Interfiliere Hong Kong. The intimate industry from Hong Kong highly needs the support of Eurovet as it is really difficult for local trade show organizer to handle this type of international trade show. In Hong Kong, we do need that international open minded point of view to keep up with the industry, “said Head of Design and Product Development, Ares Cheng, Charmante Hong Kong.

 Informative programs were also held during the two days of the fair. The Trend Forum - "Birds of Paradise", was one of the key highlights of the show, offered a real feast of color, design and innovation revealing the trends of AW17/18. A collection of selective fine products showcased the advancement of textile technology and enlightened participants about the creativity and fabric application in lingerie production.

The Prototypes Fashion Show at Interfiliere Hong Kong 2016 featured innovative products from exhibitors demonstrating the art of corsetry. A private VVIP fashion show was dedicated to a selected number of VIP guests.

The EXCEPTION, making its very first presence in Asia, successfully brought educative information about jacquard which enjoys a reputation for its revolutionary technique, versatility, wide selection of patterns, colors and effects. (HO)
