Ann Taylor is pleased to announce the opening of two new stores in Toronto, Canada in Fall 2012. With a portfolio of 274 high-profile stores across the U.S., this Canadian expansion marks the first step in growing the brand's global presence.

Brian Lynch, Ann Taylor Brand President said, "We are pleased by the strong awareness Ann Taylor already enjoys in Canada and look forward to offering our Canadian customers great fashion, quality and value in a new, exciting and aspirational shopping environment."

Ann Taylor's iconic heritage has always been synonymous with sophisticated style for women. Since its inception, the brand has evolved throughout the decades to meet modern women's changing needs, aspirations and roles.

Ann Taylor's Head Designer Lisa Axelson, a member of the prestigious CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), continues this tradition by designing with the multi-faceted, busy lives of modern women in mind.

From feminine wear-to-work styles to chic casual looks and a full assortment of shoes, jewelry and accessories, Ann Taylor dresses women across every generation from desk to dinner and workday to weekend. The brand is also known for its comprehensive petites offering.

"Toronto is the perfect location to open our first international stores. It is a beautiful city filled with modern, sophisticated women who lead busy lives, and we are excited to bring a trusted fashion destination that offers great style as well as incredible versatility," said Axelson.

As a testament to the brand's timeless appeal, Ann Taylor attracts international style icons, including First Lady Michelle Obama, as well as Hollywood's leading ladies such as Angelina Jolie, Rachel McAdams, Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson, Katie Holmes, Heidi Klum, Cameron Diaz, Halle Berry, Eva Longoria, and Jessica Alba among others.

Newly designed Ann Taylor boutiques are inspired by a stylish, modern home and provide an intimate shopping experience that is chic, warm and inviting. Dedicated expert stylists will also be on staff to help women put together perfect individualized looks for any occasion.
