From the second Lilly Pulitzer hit the Palm Beach scene circa 1959ish, she was famous for her fetes. With Resort 2012, Lilly Pulitzer, the lifestyle brand inspired by the authentic resort style of Palm Beach, kicked off a year-long celebration of life’s milestones that are marked by a special Lilly. With one of the brand’s most popular Lilly-isms, “Life’s A Party, Dress Like It!,” as inspiration, each season is focused on all the special occasions that are relived with every generation of Lilly Lovers – from a toddler’s first step in her little Lilly shift to the perfect white Lilly lace dress at her bridal shower.

“From Facebook to fan mail, we’ve seen millions of pictures sent in by our customers. They are at special events with everyone decked out in their favorite Lilly - looking fabulous and ALWAYS smiling!” said Jane Schoenborn, Vice President of Creative Communications at Lilly Pulitzer. “We recognize that no other brand is lucky enough to claim this happy title, so this year we’re using print and color to celebrate all these occasions.”

To kick off the party right, Lilly Pulitzer starts the year with the celebration of the founder’s birthday on November 10th. Guests will be delighted with limited-edition gifts with purchase on Lilly Pulitzer, in retail stores, and participating wholesale retailers. Then, Lilly Pulitzer heads to where the party all began – Palm Beach – as the presenting sponsor of the American Red Cross Beach Bash on December 29th.

This iconic social event draws in crowds from all over the East Coast decked in their favorite Lilly attire. Lilly Pulitzer Facebook fans can win a trip for two to the event through the “Enter to Win – Beach Bash” tab today through November 15.

Even after the Resort 2012 “Palm Beach Bash” season, people will agree that NO ONE throws a party like Lilly Pulitzer, and the party will just be getting started! Throughout the year, in-store and online, customers will be invited to a different themed party each season. And since life’s a party, Lilly Pulitzer helps customers dress like it and supplies them with insider party tips on the newly, re-launched blog, The Juice Stand.

Lilly Pulitzer designs and distributes apparel and accessories for women, children and men. It all started 50ish years ago with a simple shift dress in Palm Beach, Florida. Today, Lilly Pulitzer provides a collection of modern resort wear inspired by the authentic Palm Beach lifestyle.
