60th edition of IM Intermoda in Mexico from Jan 14

The 60th edition of IM Intermoda, the most important event in Mexico’s apparel and fashion industry, will be held in Guadalajara from January 14-17, 2014.

IM Intermoda is organized twice annually in January and July each other over an area of 40,000 sq m.

The event helps in strengthening the network between suppliers, manufacturers and buyers of small and large businesses.

The exhibition provides participants with a possibility of exploring businesses in countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Spain, Chile, USA, India, and others.

The 59th edition of Intermoda attracted about 23,000 buyers, due to an efficient promotion of the event as well as due to the new strategy of Trending IM, a concept that allows buyers to know the fashion trends in Mexico, directly from designers and manufacturers.

The 59th edition of Intermoda (IM) had assigned spaces for new talent and innovation in the fashion world by introducing the Designer’s Corner intended to promote commercially successful designers who already had a nationally recognized brand.

Compared to participation of 35 Colombian companies in the 59th edition, the latest edition will see participation of 39 garment manufacturers and designers from Colombia, according to Proexport Colombia.
