Loudmouth snaps David Edwards as brand envoy

The world’s No 1 trick shot artist can be seen in all his knickerbockers glory, because globetrotting David Edwards - the man with the longest driver in golf - has been snapped up as an ambassador for Loudmouth.

David always brings a good wedge - jack-hammer or fishing rod - of fun to golf shows, and now the sport’s most flamboyant showman has a funky wardrobe to match his bag of tricks.

Having entertained the packed galleries at the Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and The Open, David’s skill and repartee on the tee means he’s constantly in demand at the world’s biggest tournaments.

His unique brand of entertainment has been met with acclaim in over 50 countries and will be a highlight of the World Tour Championships in Dubai in November, the flagship finale to the European Tour.

That means a return to the Emirates for David, who has fond memories of a previous visit when he hit a number of drives from a tee clenched in tour players and celebrities teeth!

“When you are hitting 60 drives a minute you need to be swinging comfortably both ways, so my roomy ‘made-to-order’ Loudmouth Knickerbockers are a personal favourite,” says David. “My only concern is that the crowd will be more mesmerised by what I’m wearing than what I’m whacking.”

“The man has swung inches from the snoz of the most famous faces in golf so he knows what he needs to look the part and that’s why he’s teamed up with the leading brand in outrageous and fun golf clothing,” says Loudmouth CEO Larry Jackson.

“Ask David about his long game and he’ll pull out a two-metre driver, when the heavens open, he reaches for his umbrella - and plays a tricky bunker shot with it! Loudmouth couldn’t ask for star who more typifies the brand.”

Loudmouth offers an array of styles and patterns for men and women including trousers, shorts, skorts, and mini shorts. In addition to the stocked sizes, Loudmouth offers Made-to-Order (MTO) clothes, where customers can select the precise waist size and length of their garment to provide the ultimate fit. Loudmouth trousers, shorts, skorts and mini-shorts are all made in 97% cotton and 3% spandex.
