Young Fashion Brand of the Year 2013, Little Mistress will debut its first-ever TV advertising campaign, kicking-off on June 16.
The 30 second advert, which will be screened on channels including ITV2 and E4 during primetime slots, encapsulates the Little Mistress brand, emphasising the core ethos of affordable style, without compromising on quality.
Titled, Be the Party, the concept behind the advert offers viewers an insight into the stylish, playful world of Little Mistress.
The team behind the advert comprised Fashion Commentator Caryn Franklin and Fashion and TV Producer Jane Galpin, both of whom hold a wealth of experience working with live content, consumer shows and TV production, including BBC’s Clothes Show, C4’s 10 Years Younger and How to Look Good Naked
Celebrity make-up artist Arianne Poole was on hand to create the look, bringing her wealth of experience from shows such as This Morning to the production. Stylist and Blogger Electra Formosa oversaw the styling for each of the six scenes.
Commenting on the creative Caryn Franklin said, “We were thrilled to be involved with a production and brand that has female confidence and self-belief at its heart.”
Little Mistress Chief Executive Mark Ashton added, “Since the brand launched in 2010 Little Mistress has gone from strength-to-strength having been crowned Drapers Young Fashion Brand of the Year in both 2012 and 2013. Releasing a TV campaign was the natural next step for the brand and we hope that this fantastic creative will present Little Mistress to an as-yet-untapped audience of fashion conscious consumers who are looking for something both stylish and affordable during this key occasion wear season.”
The TV campaign coincides with the launch of the brand’s collaborative collection with LOOK magazine. The final edit of the advert even features two of the exclusive LOOK styles.
Ali Hall, Editor of LOOK, has been instrumental throughout the design and planning process, working alongside the in-house design team at Little Mistress, to bring the style of the LOOK reader through to the final edit.
The collaborative collection will boast a full range of styles to suit all shapes and tastes; from red carpet worthy full-length maxi dresses with sophisticated high necklines, to embellished jumpsuits and notably longer hemlines, encompassing the seasons’ midi-skirt trend.
