Specialty retailer Anchor Blue turns Black Friday Blue!
Nov '08
Specialty retailer Anchor Blue announced its campaign to draw consumer attention to retail locations on what is traditionally called Black Friday; this year Friday, November 28, 2008. Making its mark with the name BLUE FRIDAY in lieu of Black Friday, Anchor Blue is set to stand out as the specialty retailer for young adult girls' and guys' collections as well as niche accessories during this holiday season!

To create excitement for the largest shopping day of the year, Anchor Blue will paint the town blue with excitement. On BLUE FRIDAY at Anchor Blue retail locations, consumers will be able to receive BLUE FRIDAY deals on Anchor Blue denim and so much more! Denim is the foundation of everyone's wardrobe and with BLUE FRIDAY prices, shoppers will receive huge savings at Anchor Blue. When shoppers come back on Saturday and Sunday, it will be a BLUEPALOOZA price for the weekend too.

BLUE FRIDAY values will be throughout the store to complete outfits for guys and girls as well as to complete those hard-to-finish holiday lists. Customers will have the opportunity to win instant giveaways such as $1,000 shopping sprees; starting with BLUE FRIDAY and continuing through the weekend. $1,000 giftcards will be given away every day in one of the greater LA stores!

Marla White, Director of PR and Brand Development for Anchor Blue Retail Group states, "This holiday is all about value. Our economy is extremely unstable; however Anchor Blue continues to be the one specialty retailer on a solid path with a clear message. Anchor Blue is dedicated to providing excellence in quality for anyone on a super-skinny budget. We can't wait to share Blue Friday with consumers!"

Blue Friday will take place at all Anchor Blue Retail locations. Anchor Blue will be open early and stay open late on BLUE FRIDAY, so get your Blue on, you'll never look better!
