Kidswear category booms with character inspired merchandising

Iconic characters from of the kids' world have now found their way into children's apparels, lunch box, school bags, and many others. 'Character inspired merchandising' is an emerging hot trend in the market. Renowned cartoon characters are printed in kids' apparels and are given immense popularity.

Change in the conventional buying process and children becoming independent buyers motivate the kidswear market. Manufacturers use famous cartoon characters on kids' accessories to lure them into buying.

The character which is to be printed on the apparel is decided based on the market it is sold, age, and sex of the target group. For instance; Barbie and Cinderella will appear on girls' garments, while Spiderman and Hulk will take a place in boys clothing.

Toddlers will have their own choice of Scooby Doo, and Fredrick the Frog. The mighty world of toons is mesmerizing the kids, and laying a foundation for a new era in the clothing market.
