Wickedelic notices sharp upturn in sales of Silky French Cami

Lee Mill, Devon - As the old saying suggests - “All that glistens is not gold” - sage advice indeed warning us of the perils of taking anything at face value.

So when Devon-based online and mail order lingerie specialist Wickedelic Lingerie noticed a sharp upturn in sales of its classically styled Silky French Cami-Knickers they decided to investigate the customer profile.

As customer services manager Nik Grant explains: “It was plain to see that nearly 60 per cent of buyers were male and we initially assumed that they were purchasing on behalf of their partners. Imagine our shock when we discovered that they were actually buying them for themselves.”

It really would seem that Wickedelic Lingerie had tapped into a previously unnoticed seam of customers in the form of cross-dressing men.

Nik adds: “Luckily we offer our Wickedelic Lingerie Classic Range in quite large sizes and the word got around that we could easily accommodate men as well as the ladies.

“It would seem that cross-dressing men simply can't resist the silky feel of our French Style Cami-Knickers. Not only that but the entire selection of traditional lingerie seems to find favour with this particular customer. We are doing a roaring trade in basques, suspender belts, waist clinchers and stockings too.”

It may well be then that Wickedelic Lingerie has inadvertently struck gold!
