Vancouver's VATA Brasil fashion label has signed a major agreement to market and distribute its Brasilian inspired active wear by signing a Exclusive Master Distribution Agreement covering the entire United Kingdom and Ireland with RSK Sports Inc. with offices, showroom and distribution in Arbroath, Angus just north of Edinburgh.

The new partnership is an important step towards seeing VATA Brasil's Active wear and Yoga apparel in stores and on fashionable, active and health conscious women in Great Britain and Ireland.

“We've long been interested in expanding in the European Market, and more recently, we've received increasing expressions of interest from Specialty Sport retailers, fitness centres, spas, yoga studios, and department stores in major urban UK centers,” said Daniel Langevin, Chief Operating Officer, VATA Brasil. “Working with RSK Sports Inc. gives us a distribution base to satisfy retailer demands for quick order shipping and replenishment throughout the UK,” says Mario Gomes, C.E.O, VATA Brasil.

“The United Kingdom's improving economy and retailers wanting to take advantage of the active wear and yoga apparel trends makes business both possible and very attractive for new and exciting labels like VATA Brasil,” says Raymond Simpson, C.E.O. of RSK Sports.

“Our company goals revolve around having VATA Brasil active wear apparel carried in progressive department stores and specialty retailers that cater to vibrant, fashionable and active shoppers. We are very excited to have this chance to work with VATA Brasil, and to bring this exclusive range of active wear to the UK and Ireland. The brand is well known for its style, comfortable fit and performance - and we are sure that the quality and flair of the products will prove to be very popular here."

VATA Brasil is a unique line of active wear infused with Brasilian style and flair. Designed in Vancouver by a Brasilian designer and athlete and manufactured in Sao Paulo, Brasil, VATA Brasil combines comfort, long-lasting OneFit™ stretch fabric, function, bold colours and sexy, cutting edge design all packaged in a one size fits most concept for women sized 0-12.

VATA Brasil's designs have been recognized by organizations locally, nationally, and internationally. VATA Brasil operates showrooms and distribution facilities in Vancouver, Seoul, Korea, Miami, Florida and now The United Kingdom. VATA Brasil is also represented throughout the USA, Denmark, Australia and the Caribbean. They have also been the official athletics supplier to both the CFL's Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Eskimos cheerleading teams and were recognized at Munich's ISPO BrandNew Awards in 2007.
