Tissot to create new pendant watch & pocket watch

The inauguration of the Art nouveau main exposition 2005-2006 in La Chaux-de-Fonds opened on May 12th in the presence of the Swiss Minister Pascal Couchepin. Tissot, main sponsor of the events, presented a pendant watch and a pocket watch inspired by the Art nouveau “Style sapin”.
The cases of the two models are replicas from 1906 from the School of Art in La Chaux de-Fonds. The dials have been created a century after their predecessors by students from the same school which make the watches exceptional, an authentic bridge spanning two centuries, combining Art nouveau and contemporary style, tradition and modernity.
Headquartered in Le Locle, Switzerland, Tissot is a member of the Swatch Group Ltd., the world's largest watch manufacturer. With roots back to 1853, Tissot is number one in volume worldwide among traditional Swiss brands.
