Danielle Martin Cicero Bridal and Special Occasions designer to showcase at Africa Fashion Week New York 2011, July 15, 2011. The Danielle Cicero line was created to fill the need for informal bridal apparel. Other than specializing in formal gowns, Cicero designs collections that combine cocktail and tea length dresses and informal gowns. Each dress presents individuality and luxury with sumptuous detailing like hand embroidery and beading—nontraditional, modern yet royal.

While the world has anticipated the designer who would be crowned the honor of dressing Catherine Middleton for the royal weeding (Alexander McQueen), Cicero niche bridal wear designer has been working on becoming a household name.

“I wanted brides and bridesmaids to be able to have an elegant yet festive look for all their engagement parties. My looks range from something flirty and fun for the bachelorette party, a stunning gown or tea length frock for the ceremony and a fabulous reception dress to celebrate and dance the night away” -Danielle Martin-Cicero

Danielle graduated from Brooks College where she interned for two companies, one of which was an apprenticeship for a small alterations and custom design business. She learned tailoring and hand embellishment techniques, and dreamed of one day having her own designer's atelier. Danielle landed a job designing for Bill Blass Sport followed by a short stint designing for Essentials by A.B.S., a license of A.B.S. Allen Schwartz in New York City. However after relocating back to CT, she decided to start her own line, designing informal bridal apparel and occasion dresses under the label Danielle Cicero.
