Lupe Castro has been featured in Contemporary Fashion Stylists, a coffee table tome that offers an inside look into the world of fashion styling. Alongside Nikki Pennie and Joel Dash, author Luanne McLean has included Lupe in her glossy edit of today’s top 20 stylists.

Released on 23rd October 2012, the 160-page hardback lifts the lid on fashion styling. Whilst the work of a good fashion stylist often remains undetected, McLean brings these unsung heroes to the forefront of her new book. Stacked with tips, Contemporary Fashion Stylists includes sections such as ‘What is a Stylist?’, ‘A Brief History of Styling’ and ‘How to Become a Stylist’ alongside candid interviews with those working in the field now.

First in line is Lupe, whose profile includes shots from her professional portfolio, punctuated with comments from Lupe on her career, both past and present. She talks about cracking the fashion industry, her greatest achievements and her latest fashion adventure, seen from the back of Mr. P’s infamous motorbike.

‘It’s an honour to be featured in Contemporary Fashion Stylists, especially alongside such visionaries,’ says Lupe. ‘If you are curious about what I do when I’m not on a motorbike, then this is the book for you.
