TOUCH! fashion show to come in Via Tortona

The PITTI IMMAGINE shows dedicated to the women's autumn/winter 2008-2009 collections, Touch! neoZone and cloudnine, will run from 21 to 24 February 2008 in the ex-Ansaldo spaces in Via Tortona, Milan.
“We have recently innovated and diversified initiatives dedicated to women's fashion”, states Raffaello Napoleone, Pitti Immagine CEO, “In Florence the Pitti W_Woman Precollection project met a need for early viewing that was greatly felt by the most exclusive buyers and companies. It also met with great satisfaction from the press and operators.
While Milan, during the women's fashion week, is the fundamental market for collections, in other words for the final part of the presentation and sales process, and we want to be there with the Touch!, neoZone and cloudnine shows.
Some of the most innovative collections from the international scene, around 7000 top buyers from all over the world and events created around niche fashion explorers: this is the starting point for the network's idea and the September edition had excellent feedback from critics and the public".
“In February," continues Agostino Poletto, Pitti Immagine Vice-Director General, “with over 170 collections, Pitti Immagine will put the emphasis on the aspect of scouting and selection, quality and internationalism of products and setting; without forgetting the parallel scheduling with the concentration of events during the Milan fashion week, which makes this appointment a privileged moment for presentation on an international level, of our projects for women's fashion".

43 brands are taking part in this edition.
