Ian O'Connor's interiors inspire Strutt Couture for S/S collection

Strutt Couture launches Spring Summer 2010 Collection. Strutt Couture's latest collection draws inspiration from designer Ian O'Connor's background in the design of commercial interiors. Prominence is paid to the shoes constructions, the cut of upper lines, low, sexy, revealing yet sophisticated in form. Skyscraper heels on curved platforms dominate, whilst cone heels subtly enhance sandals.

Round toes are favoured once more, but are now paired with on alternative sharp edged square toe lost which exemplifies the architectural characteristics of the collection.

Uppers are exaggerated. Flamboyant - showpieces. Criss-cross minion mimics twisted steel from construction, whilst sharp angular lines replicates structural framework.

Materials are mixed. colours fused. Pink potent with gloss metal pewter combine, tan vegetable leather with orange, purple and mustard unite. Texturing is prominent os glossy mirror metal sits with sandpaper crocked suede.
